Rosemead Traffic Violation Leads to Drug Bust

Image

While patrolling the city of Rosemead, a Temple Station deputy saw a vehicle run a red light. The deputy conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle for the violation. As the deputy contacted the driver, he saw a large amount of what appeared to be crack cocaine sitting in the cup holder of the vehicle.

After a thorough narcotics investigation, the deputy recovered an additional large baggie of crack cocaine, a narcotics scale, and $6,000.00 in cash. The Temple Station deputy arrested the driver of the vehicle for possession of narcotics for sales.
