Community members had the chance to get hands-on experience in rose pruning at Lacy Park's rose garden yesterday, under the guidance of San Marino's Urban Forester, Lora Hall.
The workshop covered the basics of pruning and training roses during the winter, to extend the blooming season, which typically runs from March to August in Southern California.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and to Lora for providing such a valuable and informative workshop.
