A pedestrian was hit and fatally injured by a car on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in La Puente on Saturday morning. California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the Francisquito Avenue off-ramp of the eastbound 10 Freeway at 4:28 a.m., where they found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. The pedestrian, whose identity is unknown, was pronounced dead on the scene. The CHP temporarily closed all lanes of the freeway for investigation purposes and issued a SigAlert.
