The City Manager's Office of South Pasadena has launched a Social Services Resource Guide that aims to provide community members with a comprehensive list of available providers and resources. Although the City does not directly provide social services, it has created a Social Services Task Force, comprising City staff and partner agencies, to respond to the community's needs.
The Resource Guide contains direct links, scannable QR codes, and contact information for social services providers that serve South Pasadena. It covers a range of resources, including mental health services, veterans' resources, domestic abuse assistance, educational resources, homeless outreach/services, suicide awareness, employment resources, renter/tenant's resources, senior resources, social justice organizations, and hotlines.
The objective of the Guide is to maximize and expand the resources accessible to the South Pasadena community. It can be viewed and downloaded from the City's website, available at all City public counters, and located on the City Website at https://www.southpasadenaca.gov/i-want-to/social-services. For inquiries, feedback, or suggestions, contact Assistant to the City Manager Tamara Binns at tbinns@southpasadenaca.gov.
