Another Round of Cold Weather

Snow and wind warning for LA mountains from today until Wednesday night

• There is a winter weather advisory until 1 PM PST Tuesday and a winter storm watch from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening
• Snow and wind will make travel very difficult to impossible in some areas due to low visibility, snow drifts, fallen trees and powerlines
• Expect 4 to 8 inches of snow today and tomorrow morning with snow levels between 3500 to 4500 feet
• Expect more snow (8 to 16 inches with local amounts up to 24 inches) and stronger wind (up to 50 mph) tomorrow afternoon and night with snow levels dropping as low as 2000 feet by Wednesday night
• The warning applies to the Los Angeles County Mountains
