A man aged 28 was taken into custody on Saturday for purportedly stabbing six individuals during an early morning fight in Downtown Los Angeles.
Emergency medical services responded to a reported stabbing on the 200 block of West Seventh Street at 2:12 a.m. and transported the six victims to hospitals, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Their medical condition was not immediately known.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived on the scene at approximately 2:13 a.m., where they were informed that the suspect started stabbing multiple victims during a confrontation with two groups of people, as stated by an LAPD spokeswoman to City News Service.
The 28-year-old suspect was apprehended shortly after the incident by the police. No further information is available at present.
