Once upon a time, there was a man named Tom who loved to play practical jokes. He was always looking for a way to make his friends laugh or to pull a harmless prank on someone.
One day, Tom decided to play a trick on his best friend, John. He went to a novelty shop and bought a fake spider that looked incredibly realistic. Tom then hid the spider in John's desk drawer, knowing that he would be in for a good scare.
The next day, John went to his desk to grab a pen and opened the drawer - and immediately let out a blood-curdling scream. Tom had forgotten that John had a severe fear of spiders, and the sight of the fake one had sent him into a panic.
