One Person Killed in Shooting on 210 Freeway in Arcadia; EB Lanes Closed for Eight Hours

A crash and a shooting occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Arcadia Saturday, Sept. 4, authorities said.

At approximately 9:05 a.m., officers of the California Highway Patrol received a report of a crash near Baldwin Avenue and a shooting.

As police investigated the circumstances surrounding both incidents, they closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway at Baldwin Avenue for about eight hours. Michillinda Avenue was being used as a detour for eastbound traffic.
