Flintridge Sacred Heart Sweeps Immaculate Heart in Monday’s Sunshine League Contest

Flintridge Sacred Heart picked up its first Sunshine League victory of the 2021 season on Monday.

The Tologs swept visiting Immaculate Heart by scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 26-24.

Nikki Garriola had 10 kills and 13 digs.

Piper Scherbert contributed nine kills.

Charlotte Taylor finished with 16 digs.

And Peyton DeJardin had seven 7 kills on seven swings and eight digs in the one set she played.

FSHA coach, Trent Tcheng: “We were able to get some bench players valuable game experience. We still have some things we need to work on, but I like the small improvements we are making.”

Up next: The Tologs will compete in the Durango Fall Classic Tournament in Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday.
