Delete the Divide - Opportunity to Earn an IT Certificate


LOS ANGELES, CA – Delete The Divide will empower 1,000 youth and young adults in the County of Los Angeles to earn professional certificates that equip them with job-ready skills for in-demand, high-growth fields in three to six months. The program is at no cost to participants, and they will have the opportunity to choose a certificate program that aligns with their interests and career goals. No degree nor prior experience is required.

Delete The Divide is offering certificate programs from Google and Facebook:

Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate

Google IT Support Professional Certificate

Google Project Management Certificate

Google UX Design Certificate

Facebook Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate

Upon earning a certificate, participants will have opportunities to apply for jobs at tech companies, including Google and Facebook. The Google Career Certificate Employer Consortium has 130+ employers and the Facebook Consortium has 120+ employers. The average entry-level salaries for roles in the certificate fields typically range above $50,000 per year.

Delete The Divide membership is free for youth and young adults ages 12 to 24 who live in communities where 20.1% to 100% of the households lack internet access.
