Pasadena Police Department Receives Grant From the Office of Traffic Safety

Pasadena, Calif. – It has received a $123,900.00 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a traffic records improvement project. The project will allow the police department to improve the timeliness of reporting crashes and citations data.,”

According to Pasadena Police Department Lieutenant Anthony Russo. "Our appreciation goes out to the Office of Technical Services for providing us with this funding so we can effectively and efficiently report data."

A new electronic system for reporting crash data and citations will be made possible by grant funds.

NHTSA provided funds to implement this program, through the California Office of Traffic Safety.
