Pasadena Police Department National Rx Take Back Day
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2021 by the Drug Enforcement Administration. Pasadena Police Department is proud to announce our partnership with Day One and the Pasadena Public Health Department. In addition to allowing you to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs for free, National Prescription Take Back Day promotes safe, convenient, and responsible medication disposal.
On Saturday, October 23, 2021, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, the event will be held at the front steps of the Pasadena Police Department, located at 207 North Garfield Avenue. There will be representatives from the Pasadena Police Department, Day One, and the Pasadena Public Health Department on site to assist with the process and answer any questions.
When prescription drugs are disposed of safely, they can help prevent misuse and abuse, which occurs when people take them in a different way from how they are prescribed. Take your unused prescription drugs to a secure location on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day instead of disposing of them at home.
At this event, needles and sharp objects of any sort will not be accepted.
