Man Hospitalized After Deputy Shoots Him at Rosemead Auto Shop

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune is reporting this morning that a man was hospitalized after being shot by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy in Rosemead on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 19, authorities said.

The shooting happened at 4:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of San Gabriel Boulevard, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Deputies had responded to a call about a 25-year-old man who drove into the parking lot of an automotive shop, acted erratically and threatened the business owner and employees if they didn’t fix his car, the Sheriff’s Department said.
