Alhambra Police to Provide Two School Resource Officers

The Alhambra Police Department is grateful to partner with the Alhambra Unified School District to provide two School Resource Officers (SRO) for our students and staff. February 15th is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and we want to thank our SROs for everything they do in keeping our schools and students safe. 

SROs are trained in school-based policing and crisis response to work with all AUSD schools using community-oriented policing concepts. Bridging gaps between youth and law enforcement is significant for us, and we will continue to work every day in bringing that gap closer together.
